Schizoporotica

I went to the Icon Magazine party on Friday as part of the London Design Festival which was fun. Lots of cool design to play with and look at – and free Tanqueray, yay – but we also got to play on the Schizoporotica from design house Troika. Inspired by 18th and 19th century music boxes, it’s pre-programmed with tunes, so when you tear up the cards in a random way, feed them in and press play, it edits the tracks into unique versions. I don’t think we made anything particualarly tuneful, but it was fun getting to play!

On the subject of play, totally unconnected, but I went to see The Comedy Store Players this week too – so funny and clever, it actually made my face hurt from laughing – that’s got to be good for you!
